Experience with birds
Our background in poultry, farm livestock and professional bird keeping gives customers practical guidance grounded in real experience.
A family poultry business near Pangbourne in Reading, Berkshire, built from a lifelong interest in birds, livestock and practical poultry keeping.
Mother Hen’s Poultry grew from a genuine hobby and passion for keeping poultry. Over the years, that interest developed into supplying new and experienced keepers across Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, London and further afield with carefully selected poultry.
Our experience comes from years of hands on poultry keeping, growing up around farm livestock and a long career working with birds in zoos and wildlife parks. That background shaped the practical, bird first approach that has always been at the heart of Mother Hen’s Poultry.
